At Taylor Rose, we have a modern outlook on practising law, without compromising on quality. It is often considered the future of the legal industry. Our Consultant Solicitors enjoy the independence and flexibility of being self-employed Solicitors, whilst still having the support of a respected and established law firm. Traditional law work can often be associated with long hours and high workloads. As a Consultant Solicitor, you can define your earning potential, set your hours, and choose where you want to work.
Consultant Solicitor work is a modern and flexible method of law work. It offers a way of getting to work in the law industry without compromising your work-life balance. As a self-employed Solicitor, you have the benefits of flexible working. At Taylor Rose, we allow our Consultants to work in any one of the 30+ offices that we have located across the country. We also offer home working and hybrid working for Consultants who don’t want to work in an office full-time. Consultants who work for us enter the future of the legal industry and gain the ability to set their own hours and choose how many caseloads they want to take on at any one time. Our Consultant Solicitors are able to choose where they work and tailor their work schedules to suit them.
Becoming a self-employed Solicitor doesn’t mean that you have to take a reduction in earnings. At Taylor Rose, we offer our Consultant Solicitors a competitive fee split. We offer either a 70/30 split in your favour, rising to 75/25, when you hit £250,000, or a 60/40 fee share split, rising to 65/35 when you hit £250,000. The 60/40 option includes a full-time desk in one of our offices, while the 70/30 option is for those working from home.
We offer high-level support to all our Consultants and provide you with all the tools you need to get started. In exchange for the fee split, you have access to a range of services and benefits. Taylor Rose provide extensive back-office support, which includes help with accounts, invoicing, and general administration. We also provide a dedicated Consultant Liaison Team to support our Consultants with initial setup, training, and ongoing career development.
